I too gave up my BB storm for the Pre. I’ve had it one day. I quite like it. The battery life is rubbish but I am confident it will get better. The storm also has a low battery life. The apps catalogue is fine. More than enough for me. I dont need a whole load of games to play. I play with facebook and twitter! I’ll give it a go. Just wanted something that wasnt a blackberry or an iPhone!

I agree about the browsing capability. But I’m amazed that I couldn’t find anybody to agree with me. I thought I was missing a setting or something. It took me a long time just to find a post with somebody who agreed with me. Although, I would have preferred to find a post telling me I was an idiot and to just change a setting. Oh well, the jury is still out on my Pre.

I noticed when downloading “classic” from the app store that it said it was a trial version. I was surprised not to see it already downloaded AND do you have to pay for it after the trial period? How long is the trial period? It will be interesting to see how the app store matures.
